Hotel Haffner Sopot, Gdańsk, Gdynia

We are extremely pleased to announce that the Hotel Haffner has been included in the prestigious group of Business Gazelle 2007 award winners (Gazela Biznesu 2007). The already eighth ranking list was published on December 10, 2007 in a special issue of the Puls Biznesu.

The Business Gazelle is an award highly appreciated and respected among Polish companies. Even more important, it is awarded on the basis of the indicators which characterize the rate of business growth, stability and expansion, analyzed for three subsequent years. The main idea of the competition is to promote expansive businesses. Beside the Puls Biznesu, similar ranking lists of fast-growing businesses are also compiled by other newspapers in the Bonnier Publishing Group in Denmark, Sweden, Estonia, Russia, Croatia, Lithuania and Latvia.

The criteria for Business Gazelle Awards in 2007 included, among other things:

• commencement of business before 2004 and continuous operations until this day,
• no loss reported for the years 2004-06,
• reaching sales turnover of at least PLN 3m in 2004 yet not exceeding PLN 200m,
• growth in sales in the years 2004-06,
• business results published in the Monitor Polski B or information on the results supplied to Coface Poland or the Puls Biznesu at least since 2004.

Moreover, each company awarded the Business Gazelle trophy had to prove its unblemished reputation among its business partners, employees as well as… the State Treasury.

The ceremony of presenting the awards and commemorative diplomas for the best competitors took place at the regional Business Gazelle Gala held on March 19 at the Baltic Philharmonic Hall in Gdańsk. During the event, the Hotel Haffner was officially presented with a certificate confirming its membership in the prestigious club of Business Gazelle laureates.

This is yet another time that our work and the persistence and concerted effort of all our staff has borne fruit in the form of appreciation expressed by both a professional jury panel and all our customers.
